Attack on Titan is getting a video game for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. Even better, the title based on the popular anime is bound to release both in Japan as well as western regions. The news came by way of press release.

Koei Tecmo is publishing the title, and the yet-to-be-named Attack on Titan game is being developed by Omega Force. Omega Force? You might recognize the name as it's normally written, ω-Force. The team has done work on the Dynasty Warriors series, for instance, and they are a subsidiary of Koei Tecmo.

We don't have much to offer beyond that news and the tease you see at the head of this post. If the game can approach the level of character, terror and gore that's present in the show, though, it should hit home with fans.

We better be able to zip around titans like idiots, too! If Omega Force pulls that off, this game could be super fun regardless of whether or not you've actually seen the show.
