AT&T just announced that it will begin accepting pre-orders for the 32GB HTC One on April 4 for $199 with a new two-year contract, officially stifling rumors that the phone would cost $249.

The carrier also said a 64GB option will be available for $299.99 with a new two-year contract at launch on April 19, the same day the 32GB option will be available, although it appears there won't be a pre-order option for that model. The phones will launch with a free HTC Media Link HD accessory, too, which allows you to wirelessly stream content to an HDTV with an HDMI port.

AT&T will also begin accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy S4 on April 16 for $249.99 with a new two-year contract.

Sounds like HTC is following along with our competitive guidelines quite nicely by launching before the Galaxy S4 and at a lower price point.
