It's been almost a year since Asus unveiled the ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6 at CES 2014. Now, it looks like the Taipei company is set to update its ZenFone lineup next month, after teasing the new smartphone with a short video on Facebook this weekend.

The new video doesn't reveal much, but does offer a brief first look at the upcoming ZenFone. One image shows the back of the device, with a rear button setup that reminds us of the LG G3. A second close-up shot seems to suggest the device could pack two rear cameras, similar to the HTC One (M8), though it's possible that's just some tricky video editing and we're looking at a dual-LED flash instead.

Last year's ZenFone lineup was all about low prices and mid-range specs, and we're guessing the company won't stray far from that strategy with this upcoming smartphone. Then again, Asus seems to be hinting at something big, so it's possible the new handset could pack some exciting hardware as well. We probably won't know for sure until early next month when CES 2015 kicks off.
