Ubisoft has released a new Assassin's Creed: Revelations trailer that indicates much is to be revealed at E3 in June. The show is less than two weeks away, and this trailer does plenty to get fans of the Assassin's Creed franchise all riled up.

Details concerning the final chapter in Ezio's story within the Assassin's Creed universe have already started pouring out from different outlets. This month's Game Informer, in fact, brought a ton of locales, details and story points to light.

Gamers can expect to spend more time playing as Desmond, the present day protagonist, as the story and pile of corruption will unravel throughout Revelations. Players will visit Rhodes, Constantinople, Masyaf and Cappadocia. And they'll also be privy to a new host of characters as Ezio works to figure out what, exactly, is going on around him.

Ubisoft has created a titan out of this intellectual property. Assassin's Creed started out for some gamers on shakey ground with the original title. Since then, however, it's been a constant wave of inprovement. The second title was better than the first, and the third title was better than the second. Assassin's Creed: Revelations has a great foundation in place, and we'll start to see at E3 exactly how well it builds from there.

We'll have more on Assassin's Creed: Revelations once E3 gets moving and Ubisoft has their press conference.
