The very first moments of in-game footage from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag are now upon us. Previously revealed in well-fashioned screenshots and pre-rendered cutscenes, this appears to be the first in-game stuff to come from the title since its announcement.

We had a chance to go behind closed doors with a few members of the Assassin's Creed IV development team during this past weekend's PAX East. It was there that we were told, repeatedly, that this game would feature seamlessness on an epic scale.

Assassin's Creed IV gameplay trailer reveals combat.

We also saw the same trailer that sits at the head of this post during the meeting. Before taking it in, Ubisoft's Darby McDevitt, the Lead Writer for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, was sure to tell us that the team was trying to build gameplay that was perfect for both the worlds of the Assassins and pirates.

What do you think of the next Assassin's Creed? Will you get it when it drops for the Xbox 360, next-gen Xbox, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC or Wii U? Or, are you ready to move away from this franchise?
