I have no interest in ever buying an Assassin’s Creed novelization, and a fleeting interest in playing the games for that matter; but, I do enjoy supporting any institution willing to give a good thrashing to an established product.

A local bookstore manager in Portal, Oregon, has beaten the Internet in its whipping of Ubisoft’s handling of last year’s Assassin’s Creed Unity fiasco. I mean, just read it. It’s so perfect that it speaks for itself.

Apparently, we as a gaming collective still haven’t moved beyond Assassin’s Creed Unity to find this dated. Luckily, bugs and glitches still remain a problem in games, hardly exclusive to Assassin’s Creed, and the joke still works.

So just remember, if you ever get the urge to pick up an Assassin’s Creed novelization, before you commit yourself, track down this book store and support good store management.
