Along with unveiling refreshed MacBooks today, Apple introduced its annual Back to School promotion. The limited promotion is now available in the United States and Mexico, as well as multiple European and Asian countries.
Students, parents of students and faculty and staff of higher education and K-12 grades are eligible for the promotion, which offers a free pair of Beats with the purchase of any new MacBook Pro, MacBook, MacBook Air, iMac Pro and Mac Pro. The Beats models available with the purchase of a Mac are the BeatsX, Solo3 Wireless and Powerbeats3 Wireless.
Apple also extended the promotion to the iPad Pros though it’s somewhat limited. Buying a 10.5-inch or 12.9-inch iPad Pro can get a free pair of BeatsX and Powerbeats3 wireless or if they so choose, can pay the $100 for the Solo3 Wireless. Unfortunately, the deal does not include the standard iPad or iPad mini 4.
Beyond the free pair of Beats, Apple is also offering 20-percent off AppleCare for the Macs and iPad.
The Back to School promotion will run until September 25, 2018, and can be taken advantage of through retail stores or Apple’s online store.
