Three months after the Apple Watch made its debut, the device is still unavailable through third-party retailers — but that’s going to change early next month. Best Buy has confirmed it will begin selling Apple’s first wearable on Friday, August 7.

Apple Watch will be available in more than 100 stores across the U.S., and available to order from, the retailer announced on Sunday. Another 200 stores will begin stocking the Watch ahead of the busy holiday shopping period.

“The Apple Watch is a big addition to our stores and website, and we know our customers want it,” said Jason Bonfig, senior category officer at Best Buy. “We are excited to bring the Apple Watch to more consumers, especially with the holidays coming up.”

Best Buy shoppers will be able to see and try on 16 Apple Watch models in-store — including both Sport and stainless steel Watch options in 38mm and 42mm sizes. Best Buy will also stock nearly 50 accessories, which will include additional bands, screen protectors, stands, and more.

Best Buy will be the first Apple-authorized reseller to offer Apple Watch, but it almost certainly won’t be the last. As supplies increase over the coming months, you can expect to see the device popping up wherever Apple devices are already on sale.
