Apple TV 4 2015-9

Finding your favorite content from Fox Now, FX Now, and Nat Geo is now even easier on the new Apple TV. Apple has updated the set-top box's built-in universal search function to support these services, allowing users to seek out shows from all three providers.

Universal search on Apple TV is much like Spotlight on your Mac; it lets you enter keywords and names to find content throughout your device, regardless of its source. It's not quite as versatile just yet, but it is getting better already.

For instance, you can search for Family Guy, and Apple TV will help you find Family Guy content in iTunes, Hulu, and from other sources in one place.

With its latest update, universal search has received support for Fox Now, FX Now, and National Geographic. It comes just a few weeks after Apple added support for PBS and PBS Kids.

Other services supported by universal search include Hulu, Netflix, HBO GO, Showtime, Showtime Anytime, and iTunes. Note, however, that the feature is currently only available to users in the U.S.
