Apple has temporarily closed its online store as the company prepares for its iPhone 2018 event at its campus later today.
While Apple’s event is still a few hours away, the company has already lowered the virtual shutters on its online store to prepare for whatever new products will be announced. The current speculation, of course, is the iPhone updates for 2018. There are also rumors of new iPads and maybe a few other surprises along the way.
It’s amazing that in 2018 this is still how Apple handles updating its store. One has to imagine this is done partially to build suspense and anticipation. No matter what the cause, however, it has become a staple of every Apple event and always leads one to wonder about what exactly will be introduced.
