Last year, Apple’s “Misunderstood” TV ad went right for the heart and managed to win a Creative Arts Emmy for its touching message. Now, the Cupertino company is back with another commercial that’s just a heartwarming.

The new ad, titled The Song, follows a young woman as she listens to an old recording of her grandmother singing and then remixes it using Apple products. At the end of the short video, she plays the new song for her grandmother, bringing her to tears with happiness and nostalgia. It’s a sweet ad that shows what Apple’s products can do.

“With a Mac, iPhone or iPad you have the power to create thoughtful, emotional gifts and memories that transcend time,” reads a quick summary from Apple. “It could be a movie, a homemade card or a song that brings two generations closer together.”

The Song also shows how Apple’s products have become completely integrated into our lives. The young woman always has some Apple device with her, whether it’s a MacBook at home or an iPhone outside, signified by those classic white earbuds. She even plays the song for her grandmother on an iPad mini.
