I often recommend folks check out Apple's refurbished section when they're in the market for a new laptop. It's a great place to find low prices on products that are covered under a new warranty. Now Apple is selling refurbished iPhones, too.

There's a small catch, at least if you're used to carrier subsidies: you'll need to pay the full cost. This is going to make the phone seem expensive on the surface since you're buying it outright instead of paying off the total cost over 24 months, but there are some good deals to be had. A refurbished 16GB iPhone 6s will set you back $449, a savings of $80. The iPhone 6s Plus is $529.

A solid deal for unlocked Apple devices

Those are pretty significant deals and great options for folks who don't want to pay the full price of a phone or who need an unlocked device for travel. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are not yet available refurbished.

Apple has a whole selection of refurbished phones available with ranging capacities and colors. I highly recommend buying refurbished if you don't care about a gently used product. Apple adds 1-year of warranty and still lets you buy additional AppleCare. Hit the source if you're curious.
