Apple on Thursday officially unveiled a new MacBook Pro with improved internals and revamped chassis. But the real story is the Touch Bar, which promises to change how people interact with programs such as Photos and iMovie.

The unfortunate part is that Apple’s new MacBook Pros are pretty pricey. The 13-inch model with the Touch Bar starts at $1,799 and the price only goes up from there. The top of the line 15-inch model without any upgrades costs $2,799—but customize your order and it can get even more expensive than that.

If you configure a 15-inch MacBook Pro with all available options, you’ll spend $4,299. The upgrade alone in storage from 512GB to 2TB is $1,200. That’s an absolutely incredible price. Hey, at least you can get up to 18 months of special financing.

The new MacBook Pro promises better performance all-around, along with an improved display and a smaller overall footprint. But if you want your device with all the bells and whistles, you’re going to have to pay.

And we thought Microsoft’s new Surface Studio was expensive.
