For awhile now, Apple has stated its intent to open more retail outlets globally.  The lack of progress on international expansion was just one speculation as to why John Browett was fired after just nine months on the job.

Looks like Apple is staying true to its mission and is pushing into more regions, specifically, Brazil and Turkey. Job postings surfaced today with a long list of available jobs in these countries.  With Apple planning on opening 30-35 new stores of which 75 percent of them opening outside the U.S.  look for more of these job postings to occur.  Despite drastic changes in executive leadership, Apple retail stores remain the most profitable stores in the retail industry, far out-pacing other stores.  It looks like Apple has no intent of ceding that position and will look to expand abroad.
