Later this year, Apple is widely expected to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack in favor of its Lightning port, a move that would reportedly allow the company to make the iPhone 7 thinner. While we’ve already seen leaked parts corroborating these reports, we now have our first look at the EarPod headphones with Lightning connector Apple might include with the upcoming handset.

Now, these images could easily have been faked—9to5Mac points to a similar image from a few months ago that was apparently photoshopped—so take them with a huge grain of salt for now. As we approach the iPhone 7’s release this fall, however, it’s looking more and more likely the 3.5mm headphone jack is being ditched by Apple.

Previously, a leak suggested Apple might include the standard EarPod headphones with the iPhone 7 and offer an adapter. If the images above are legit, however, Apple will instead include a pair of headphones with a Lightning connector—something we’ll likely see much more of over the coming months.

The iPhone 7 is expected to debut this September so we’re not that far away from an actual announcement. Other possible changes may include a revamped home button, different colors, and the move to 32GB as standard.
