Apple announced a new tvOS update at WWDC that is introducing a number of new features that are aimed at making it much more useful. The first is multi-user support, allowing multiple household users to have profiles with their own dedicated apps.

Accessing the profiles will be quite easy with a swipe from the right side. There, a picuture of the user will live along with other controls such as Sleep, Now Playing, AirPlay and Search. Each profile will come with personalized recommendations based on each users viewing habits.

The other major feature Apple introduced was third-party controller support for Apple Arcade when it launches in the fall. The Xbox and PlayStation 4 controller will be able to connect with the Apple TV and be used for Apple's upcoming gaming service.

Aside from that, Apple also gave us an update on Apple TV+ which will be launching in the fall and showed off a trailer for its upcoming For All Makind series.
