Bose products may finally return to the Apple Store next week, French tech blog iGen reports. 9to5Mac later confirmed the news with a pair of leaked internal screenshots listing the SoundLink III and SoundLink Mini Bluetooth speakers as “current transitioning” products. It’s still unclear if any Bose headphones will make the cut.

The high-end headphone and speaker-maker was unceremoniously booted by Cupertino in October, but it looks like the two companies have quickly come to a new agreement. iGen’s source adds that some Apple Stores have already received shipments of new Bose products.

Apple never issued an official statement explaining why it stopped selling Bose products, but it presumably had something to do with Beats. After all, the Apple-owned company is a direct competitor with Bose. The two brands also sparred over NFL promotion when Bose locked down an exclusive advertising deal earlier this year.

We may never know exactly why Apple gave Bose the boot, or why it’s apparently ready to bury the hatchet just a couple of months later. But at the end of the day it should mean more choices for customers, which is always a good thing.
