Google Play telephone help

Google provides us with some really incredible products that many of us just couldn’t live without, whether it’s Gmail, an Android-powered smartphone, Google Docs, or a particular favorite of mine, Google Reader. However, anyone who’s ever used a Google product will tell you that the company’s technical support is incredibly poor — almost nonexistent.

But that’s about to change for Google Play, which offers 24/7 technical support. If you have issues installing Angry Birds or you can’t complete the second mission in Grand Theft Auto 3*, no matter what time of day it is, you can have Google call you up and help you out. You can’t call Google, however; you’ll need to fill in a form on its website and then sit tight until your phone rings.

Unfortunately, you can’t use this service if you’re an Android Developer, either; it’s for users only. But it’s still a helpful feature that we certainly didn’t expect to see from Google.

What do you think of Google Play’s 24/7 technical support? Will you use it?

*Joke! Obviously you shouldn’t really call technical support because you can’t complete your games. It’s highly unlikely they’ll be able to help.
