Android 5.0 may not be hitting our Google Play Edition devices as quickly as we’d hoped, but it looks like one more handset may be making the jump to Lollipop. Sony’s Xperia Z Ultra GPe appears to be receiving the update this morning, at least according to one lucky person who posted a screenshot to the AndroidCentral forums as proof.

As expected, the update brings all the best parts of Lollipop to Sony’s stock Android phablet. That includes a new look and feel with Material Design, lockscreen notifications, Smart Lock, battery saving mode and more. The software update weighs in at 397MB, though you may need at least 500MB of free space to install it.

Considering its massive 6.44-inch display, the Xperia Z Ultra isn’t exactly the most convenient smartphone to carry around. It’s also starting to look slightly out of date these days with a 1080p resolution, 2.2GHz processor and an 8-megapixel rear camera. Still, if you have one on hand it’s definitely worth booting up to see if Android 5.0 Lollipop is available to download.
