Don't want to wait until Monday for your Amazon delivery? Well, you no longer have to if you live in 15 additional cities that can receive Sunday delivery.
Amazon has slowly been rolling out Sunday delivery around the country, and today it has announced another 15 cities that will be able to take advantage of the service. Customers in these towns can order as late as Friday and still receive their packages on Sunday with free shipping if they are Amazon Prime customers.
The new cities include:
- Austin, Texas
- Cincinnati, Ohio
- College Station, Texas
- Columbus, Ohio
- Dallas, Texas
- Houston, Texas
- Indianapolis, Ind.
- Lexington, Ky.
- Louisville, Ky.
- New Orleans, La.
- Oklahoma City, Okla.
- Philadelphia, Pa.
- San Antonio, Texas
- Shreveport, La.
- Waco, Texas
Amazon said in its statement that thus far the favorite items for Sunday deliveries have been newborn apparel, books and toys.
Hopefully we'll see this service roll out to even more parts of the country in the coming years.

SEATTLE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–May 8, 2014– Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) announced today that customers in 15 additional cities are eligible for Sunday delivery. In addition to the Los Angeles and New York metro areas where Sunday delivery launched in November 2013, Amazon customers in the following locations are now receiving deliveries on Sunday:

- Columbus, Ohio

- Houston, Texas
- Indianapolis, Ind.
- Lexington, Ky.
- Louisville, Ky.

- San Antonio, Texas
- Shreveport, La.
- Waco, Texas
"So far, the most common items delivered on Sunday include baby supplies such as newborn apparel, books and toys—Sunday delivery is clearly crossing errands off the weekend to-do list," said Mike Roth, Amazon's vice president of North America operations. "We know our Amazon customers love the convenience of everyday delivery, and we're excited to be offering Sunday delivery in more cities across the U.S."
Since Sunday delivery launched, millions of packages have been delivered on Sunday to Amazon customers. Amazon and the U.S. Postal Service plan to continue to roll out Sunday delivery to a large portion of the U.S. population this year.
To participate, Amazon customers can simply add any of the millions of eligible items to their cart and see the Sunday delivery promise at checkout when available in their region.
