Another day, another iPhone 8 leak. That’s the way it has been lately and there are no signs of it stopping anytime soon.
The latest leak is a supposed iPhone 8 schematic, but its sources can’t be confirmed, so we’re taking it with a grain of salt.
Notable leakers OnLeaks and Benjamin Geskin shared the schematic on Twitter but they can’t confirm if it’s legit. The schematic of the back of the supposed iPhone 8 does line-up with some of the rumors that have been swirling around. It features a vertical dual-lens camera and what looks like a wireless charging receiver. The schematic doesn’t feature the newly-placed Touch ID sensor on the back as some of the most recent rumors have suggested.
The schematic doesn’t give too much information
Aside from that, there’s not much more information that can be extracted from the schematic. It doesn’t show off the front of the device where most of the juicy rumors have focused on. We can’t tell if it includes a new OLED display that will eliminate the sizable bezels of the current iPhone 7.
Apparently, the iPhone 8’s release is being pushed back to October or November, so the device will be difficult to find ahead of the holidays. We’re still months away from Apple officially unveiling the device, but expect to see several more leaks as the launch nears.
