Ace Attorney 6 was the only game I really wanted to play at Tokyo Game Show 2015 that I didn’t get around to trying. My Japanese is sufficient enough for some things, but playing a complicated logic game is not among them. Why bother struggling with a language barrier with the limited time?

It’s also already confirmed for an English release, so I just decided to be patient. In the meantime, Capcom released a new trailer for the latest game in its “lawyer simulation” franchise. We already know that Phoenix Wright is going to be traveling to a foreign country, one where ghosts and spirits dominate the law of the land, so our hero will have to use his skills to defend those that have already passed on.

It’s utterly insane, and I’m pumped that Capcom took such a liberal left turn after the last game, which got very serious by the end. Apollo Justice has also been confirmed as a returning character, and he will be playable for a case in Phoenix’s absence.

And I love the judge’s crown. How charming, your honor.

Capcom hasn’t set a subtitle for this one yet, but it has been confirmed for a English release. We’ll let you know as soon as we know.
