ZTE will unveil its Grand S, the oft-rumored 5-inch phablet, during next month’s CES event in Las Vegas. Typically, cold hard facts are withheld from the prying public until a company takes the stage, but right there on the CES event schedule is the following note: Introducing the ZTE Grand S.

Everything is set to kick off on Jan. 8, 2013 from 1:30-2:30 p.m., where we’ll see ZTE unveil its first FHD smartphone, said to be the thinnest one yet. “Made of ceramic and featuring traditional Chinese style, the Grand S is the perfect phone for the fashionable set,” the description says. Well, now, if it’s for the fashionable set, let’s all jump onboard.

It’s unclear what the device will be packing under the hood, but according to a CNET source, it’ll at the very least come with a quad-core processor. Being that this is a flagship handset, we’d also expect an 8-megapixel camera and Jelly Bean. We’ll find out soon enough.
