Samsung Galaxy S4 S View Cover Review

Samsung CEO JK Shin recently confirmed that his company has now shipped more than 40 million Galaxy S4 units. Shin's comments were made to Korean news outlet inews24, to which he also explained that it took Samsung 6 months to reach this milestone.

Samsung sold 20 million Galaxy S4 units during the phone's first two months on the market, and additional 20 million units in the following four months. At this pace Samsung is on track to close out the year with 50 million Galaxy S4 phones launched, though we do wonder if these figures include sales of the entire family, which includes the S4 mini, S4 Active and S4 Zoom.

The figures are still impressive, however. By comparison, Samsung shipped 30 million units of the Galaxy S III during the phone's first year on the market. Can Samsung keep up this pace with the Galaxy S5?
