Google was supposed to hold a press event today during which we expected it to discuss the Nexus 7, the Nexus 10 and the LG Nexus 4. However, the event was recently cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy. That obviously hasn’t stopped retailers from prepping to sell the new 32GB Nexus 7 or the now cheaper 16GB Nexus 7. Droid-Life readers recently noticed both tablets on sale in an Office Depot retail store, for $249 and $199, respectively, and several were even able to purchase the device, which Google hasn’t officially announced.

Google itself still isn’t offering the new 32GB model from its own Play Store, but we suspect that will change any day now. The company has yet to inform us when the event will be rescheduled for — or where — but last year it was moved to Hong Kong after initially being canceled in California.
