Nintendo is rapidly expanding its mobile game offering with the announcement of its latest game to grace the screens of smartphones, Dr. Mario World.
The new Mario game will be “free to download with optional in-app purchases” that will be color-matching puzzle game. It’ll be different from the past to two Mario games Nintendo has made.
Back in December 2017, Nintendo released Super Mario Run which was a classic side scroller game with multiple levels. The first level was free but if users wanted to play the entire game, they had to pay $9.99. Soon after that Nintendo announced Mario Kart Tour would be its next major game on smartphones. It was slated to arrive in March 2019 but earlier this week the game was delayed for a summer release date.
Now comes Dr. Mario World, a brand new mobile game of the famed gaming franchise that will expand its reach. The game is being co-developed by Japanese mobile developer Line.
Dr. Mario World will be released early summer 2019 for iOS and Android across 60 countries.
