Nintendo Switch owners hoping to dig deeper into Nintendo’s library of classic titles may soon get their wish, with new evidence suggesting SNES games are coming to Nintendo Switch Online.

Apparently, there’s a long list of references to SNES games found in NES Online files. While prying around, user KapuccinoHeck found evidence for The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Yoshi’s Island, and Super Mario World, just to name a few.

Many of the titles found by KapuccinoHeck were included in Nintendo’s release of SNES Classic, including Star Fox 2, which Nintendo released for the first time ever with the classic console.

With the possibility of SNES titles coming to Nintendo Switch Online, optimistic Nintendo fans might say that N64 and GameCube games are on the way as well. At this point, Nintendo hasn’t officially said what the future holds for the online service.

Since Nintendo Switch Online became available last year, Nintendo has made the service a priority over launching a virtual console and new classic consoles. Instead, the company has been slowly adding NES titles to Nintendo Switch Online, and it looks like a lot more good stuff is on the way.
