Spider-Man Game Developer Confirms Raimi Suit Isn’t Coming

Fans of the Spider-Man PS4 game have been clamoring for the classic suit from the Sam Raimi trilogy, and with the third and final DLC update for the game coming next week, there was hope the suit would appear with the update. Unfortunately, Insomniac Games just dropped some very bad news.

Taking to Twitter, Insomniac confirmed that although they were listening to user feedback, the suit won’t be available with the third DLC.

That’s disappointing to hear. It seems that the fan feedback annoyed the developer and it finally shut the door for good. However, they did deliver some good news. The DLC will bring three new suits, including the Spider-Man suit Peter Parker wore in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

A new Cyborg Spider-Man suit and Aaron Aikman Amor suit will also be added with the DLC. The new Spider-Man DLC is rolling out December 21 for $9.99.
