Sony’s decision to skip E3 for the first time in twenty-four years has left fans shocked, but don’t let that detract from your excitement. Both Nintendo and Microsoft have confirmed that they will be at E3 2019, hopefully ensuring that the convention isn’t a total bust.
After Sony’s announcement, both Xbox’s Facebook page and its boss, Phil Spencer’s, Twitter account updated to promise fans that they would be attending the show and bringing lots of games along with them.
A lot to share with fans at E3 2019. Always a high point of the year to witness the industry’s creativity and the energy of the community. https://t.co/Uug2TUpxwI

Likewise, Nintendo of American Reggie Fils-Aime stated that Nintendo would definitely be at the show with another Nintendo Direct presentation.
“E3 is an outstanding opportunity for us to share new games and experiences with fans and business partners from across the globe. Every year, we discuss what will be the best way for us to take advantage of the next E3 show in order to bring smiles to people’s faces.”
So while Nintendo and Microsoft will be bringing you their games, Sony is going to be sitting this one out on its own… making my workload a whole lot lighter. Thanks, Sony!
