About to purchase the Galaxy Note 9? Maybe you should hold off, at least for a few more weeks. Samsung could introduce its 2018 flagship in an entirely new color as holiday shopping gets underway. Plus, it’s somewhat themed as the temperature drops in many parts of the world and snow begins to fall.

Here’s the Galaxy Note 9 in white, courtesy of insider Evan Blass:

From top to bottom, the entire variant’s starkly white. Samsung also painted its S Pen in the same color while other variants of the Galaxy Note 9 gets a slightly different shade for the stylus.

Blass wasn’t sure if the press render was designed in Photoshop, but he did find a report from India Today that showed the front of this variant. So it does seem like the Galaxy Note 9 in white will be announced soon. As for specific timing, we don’t have any idea.

It’s already offered in a variety of colors. Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 9 in Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, Lavender Purple, and Metallic Copper. All of them were limited to some markets in different combinations, but Samsung’s made most global in recent months.

Samsung could use a boost from the Galaxy Note 9 in white. Apple released the iPhone XS and the iPhone XR, and Google’s Pixel 3 has been getting plenty of attention. Although we’ll see groundbreaking technology from the Galaxy S10 in early 2019, Samsung needs to give its bottom line a jolt to close out this year.
