Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years is Your Must-Have Guide to the MCU

It’s been ten years since Marvel Studios kicked off the Marvel Cinematic Universe, starting with 2008’s Iron Man. Since then, the studio has released 20 movies, with the most recent being Ant-Man and the Wasp. Needless to say, the MCU has become a cultural phenomenon, ingrained in the cinematic zeitgeist as the defining way to build an expanded universe.

To celebrate Marvel’s impressive achievement, Titan Publishing has created Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years, the ultimate collector’s item for diehard Marvel fans. The book, which is being released in hardcover at the end of November, will cover all 20 movies that have been released thus far, with photography, interviews, and more.

One of the coolest parts is that the book will feature a guide to all the Easter Eggs that have appeared in the MCU so far. My only question is: Will it include the Easter Egg from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 that director James Gunn says nobody has found?

The book beautifully complements a series of gold posters Marvel released earlier this year. You can see a gallery of those posters up above.

With 20 films under its belt, Marvel Studios has no intentions of slowing down. The studio is gearing up to release Captain Marvel, Avengers 4 and Spider-Man: Far From Home in 2019. Meanwhile, Disney will close its acquisition of 21st Century Fox early next year, giving Marvel access to the X-Men and Fantastic Four.

It’s been a memorable ten years, but it looks like Marvel Studios is just getting started. You can preorder Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years at the link below.
