LG V40 ThinQ vs. Pixel 2 XL: Are Three Cameras Better Than One?

by Danny Zepeda | October 3, 2018October 3, 2018 2:20 pm PST

LG just introduced its newest smartphone, the LG V40 ThinQ, and it’s exactly what you’d expect. It falls squarely in line with the trend of modern smartphones while the Pixel 2 XL falls on the other side of that.

It’s kind of unfair to compare the two as the Pixel 2 XL’s successor is just around the corner and in every spec breakdown (except camera), it looks outdated—Snapdragon 845 vs. 835, 6GB of RAM vs. 4GB, 6.4-inch display with reduced bezel vs. 6-inch display with large bezels. Then there’s the Pixel 2 XL’s finish that feels cheaper even though it’s aluminum and the lack of wireless charging that’s now ubiquitous among flagships.

However, it is still good to compare the two just to see where exactly the latest devices from LG and Google stand. Take a look a the comparison below to see how the two devices contrast.
