Today Apple unveiled the iPhone XS Max, its new plus-size flagship replacing the antiquated iPhone 8 Plus. It comes with all the perks of the iPhone X, most importantly the reduced bezels, making way for a huge 6.5-inch display. Google’s Pixel 2 XL went in a very different direction, but given its still one of the most important big phones around, we’re comparing the two.
Unlike the iPhone XS Max’s edge to edge display, Google went with a 6-inch display that still has big bezels but stuck in dual front-facing speakers in the extra space. Is that worth the polarizing look? I’ll let you answer that question.
Really, the iPhone XS Max and the Pixel 2 XL could not be more different phones. One offers an unparalleled level of luxury while the other settles for an ultra industrial aesthetic. Check out the spec comparison down below and see which is the better phone.
