Acer’s Crazy Gaming Chair Gives the Iron Throne a Run for Its Money

IFA in Berlin has barely begun and Acer is already coming out swinging. The company has introduced an absurd gaming chair, called Predator Thronos, that gives Game of Thrones’ Iron Throne a run for its money. Seriously, this thing is crazy.

Acer says the Thronos “reimagines the gaming chair,” which is an understatement. Featuring a steel structure and “deep impact vibration,” the Thronos provides gamers with immersive feedback and a comfortable seat complete with a footrest. The chair is also capable of reclining up to 140 degrees for maximum comfort.

The Thronos will, of course, support Acer’s lineup of Predator gaming PCs, allowing users to experience the ultimate in gaming excess. Additionally, Thronos users can equip the chair with up to three 27-inch monitors, ensuring gamers are completely surrounding in technology. Coincidentally, Acer introduced a new 27-inch gaming monitor that features a resolution of (3840×2160) and NVIDIA G-SYNC technology. The monitor will retail for $1,299 when it launches later this year.

Sadly, Acer didn’t reveal a price or release date for the Thronos. But if you want to be the envy of your neighborhood, you should probably start saving now.
