Next year, would could see Samsung’s latest flagship offered in a variety of colors.
Ice Universe, the insider whose track record on Samsung-related matters doesn’t disappoint, says there are five colors up for consideration. The Galaxy S10 might be sold in black, white, silver, green, and pink. None of them are entirely new and have been used in the past, but lately we’ve seen Samsung stick with more generic colors. It’d be refreshing to see green and pink join the mix in 2019.
Samsung’s two most recent flagships have a somewhat boring color swatch to choose from. The Galaxy S9 arrived in Midnight Black, Coral Blue, Titanium Gray, and Lilac Purple. It was then coated in Burgundy Red and Sunrise Gold for select markets. As for the Galaxy Note 9, it’s Ocean Blue, Lavender Purple, Midnight Black, and Metallic Copper.
Maybe the colors themselves aren’t disappointing, but rather the shades used don’t seem very attractive. Both green and pink have been used on Galaxy devices. In 2016, the Galaxy S6 in Emerald Green earned style points. Yet Samsung reduced the variety of its color swatch last year and this year.
“Beyond” candidate colors: black, white, green, silver, pink.

The Galaxy S10 could use some extra glamour given Samsung’s struggle to excite consumers recently.
When will you see the Galaxy S10 go official? As long as there aren’t any delays in development, it should be introduced no later than March. More likely, though, is an unveiling at MWC 2019 in February.
