Apple Watch Series 4 Starts Traveling the World

Later this year, the Apple Watch Series 4 will be announced and released around the world.

The smartwatch should be introduced sometime in September, but all models due out have made an appearance in the Eurasian Economic Commission’s database. It reveals models numbers and the software version running on them. So that means the Apple Watch Series 4 just needs its maker to host a launch event soon.

Based on watchOS 5, the refreshed line of smartwatches will include GPS-only and LTE-enabled models. The database doesn’t say much else about design or specifications, but rumors suggest there will be a slightly larger display and better battery life.

In 2019, the Apple Watch Series 5 is expected to replace physical buttons with solid-state buttons that offer haptic feedback.

The model numbers from the EEC filing are A1977, A1978, A1975, A2007, and A2008. All of them should be available a few weeks after they’re made official. So far, it sounds like Apple will host its annual year-ending event on September 12.
