Stranger Things Season 3 Teaser Can’t Get Anymore ‘80s

Stranger Things is known for its nostalgia for the ‘80s, and there’s nothing more ‘80s than this new video teasing the show’s third season.

Designed as a cheesy advertisement, the video introduces a new location coming to Hawkins, Indiana: the Starcourt Mall. It looks like it was ripped straight out of Fast Times At Ridgemont High, with stores like The Gap, Waldenbooks, Sam Goody, and even Hotdog on a Stick.

And we can’t forget about Scoops Ahoy Ice Cream shop, which is where you can find Steve Harrington gainfully employed. (He doesn’t look too pleased, but at least his hair looks good.)

Unfortunately, none of the show’s other characters appear in the teaser other than Steve’s co-worker Robin (Maya Hawke). For that matter, the teaser is pretty light on details for the upcoming third season.

The Starcourt Mall seems like a pretty fun hangout spot—you know, when Hawkins isn’t being threatened by supernatural forces. The promo prominently says that the Starcourt Mall is coming next summer, which could be when the new season hits Netflix.
