Without much fanfare – and certainly, no warning – Apple has finally updated the MacBook Pro line. The last update came in June 2017, so it was definitely time for some fresh Apple laptops.

The new MacBook Pro (2018) 15-inch models now feature six-core, eighth-generation Intel Core i7 and i9 processors and RAM expandable up to 32GB. The Radeon Pro graphics sport 4GB of video memory, which you can upgrade the storage to as much as a 4TB SSD. Also of note, the keyboard has been updated, something many users complained about in the last generation. The base price for the 15-inch models comes in at $2,399.

For those of you looking for a 13-inch model, you will find Quad-core Intel Core i5 and i7 processors. Intel Iris Plus integrated graphics with 128MB of eDRAM, and up to 2TB of SSD storage. The 13-inch models start at a base price of $1,799.

The new MacBook Pro models are available today through Apple’s website and at select Apple Store locations. Authorized resellers will have them in store later this week.
