Samsung is readying a new high-end tablet. Based on a recent FCC filing, the Galaxy Tab S4 shouldn’t be too far from making its global debut.

The Galaxy Tab S4 will look like its predecessor, but Samsung didn’t jot down any specifications for us to¬†glean. We’re only able to tell that Wi-Fi, LTE, and Bluetooth will be offered. Also, Samsung will leverage AKG’s experience to enhance audio on the Galaxy Tab S4.

It’s been rumored that the Galaxy Tab S4 will ship with a 10.5-inch (2560×1600) display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835, 4GB of memory, 64GB of storage, and a 7300mAh battery. None of that was mentioned in the filing, so we can’t confirm anything yet.

The tablet may be passing through the FCC at the same time as Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9, but the products aren’t expected to be announced together. Samsung is rumored to have its second 2018 flagship scheduled for early August while the Galaxy Tab S4 debuts at IFA several weeks later.

When it’s official, the Galaxy Tab S4 could be joined by the Gear S4 to complete a lineup taking Samsung into next year. Then all eyes shift to the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy X. From everything we know, the next nine months or so are going to be packed for Samsung.
