These are the exclusive Star Wars toys at Comic-Con 2018

Collectors, on your marks. Lucasfilm may not intend to show off any Star Wars-related movie footage at this year’s Comic-Con, but the franchise will still have a major presence. To gear up for the show, a number of new toys have been unveiled, including one of a Porg riding in the Millennium Falcon.

The toy comes from Hot Wheels of all places. But this is no ordinary Hot Wheels car; in addition to being positively adorable, the Porg Millennium Falcon mashup is part of the Hot Wheels Battle Rollers line. That means the toy will be perfect for kids (and adults) who enjoy smashing up their collection of Hot Wheels vehicles.

LEGO also dropped a Star Wars exclusive that’s based on Solo: A Star Wars Story. The new set finds Han and Chewie sitting in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon. Sadly, Lando is nowhere to be found.

It’s a simple set that will take all of ten minutes to piece together, but no less exciting. That Chewie minifig looks pretty fantastic.

Finally, Hasbro has a handful of new Star Wars characters straight from the comics, including Dr. Aphra, Triple Zero, and BT. The figures are 3.75”-scale and feature plenty of impressive details.

As io9 explains, Dr. Aphra and her droids were first introduced in Darth Vader back in 2016. Aphra was essentially an archeologist who winds up getting mixed up in Darth Vader’s rise back to power after the first Death Star is destroyed. Her droids are described as killer versions of C-3PO and R2-D2.

Hasbro is also offering a set centered on the lightsaber duel between Rey and Kylo Ren in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, as well as a set that features Harrison Ford’s Han Solo.

If you’re making it to Comic-Con this year, you’ll be able to get your hands on these exclusive sets. If now, well, you’ll have to content yourself with looking at the photos above.
