It won’t be long until Nintendo Switch owners can get their hands on Playdead’s Inside and Limbo. The developer revealed both games will be available worldwide on Thursday, June 28, which is just under a week from now.
If you’ve yet to play either title and you own a Switch, now’s your chance to try two of gaming’s premier independent experiences. Both games have been available for a while now on various platforms, but they’ll be a perfect fit on Nintendo’s portable console, which continues to grow in pedigree as more independent and third-party titles are released.
Limbo, released in 2010, tells the tale of a young boy stuck in a mysterious and treacherous environment that’s full of dangerous traps. Inside, meanwhile, features a similar premise that challenges players to solve puzzles while traversing a harsh and unforgiving environment.
Playdead didn’t reveal how much each game will cost, but chances are neither will be more than $10. However much they cost, both titles are not to be missed. And if you have played them before, their release on Switch is a solid reason to revisit Playdead’s masterpieces.
