Wonder Woman suits up in glitzy image from Wonder Woman 1984

Last week, we got a fun look at Wonder Woman’s Steve Trevor dressed like he stepped onto the set of Fast Times and Ridgemont High. Now, we have our first image of Diana Prince wearing her flashy armor.

Compared to her outfit from Wonder Woman, which took place during World War I, not much has changed. She still has a bracelet over her bicep and a golden headband. There’s a very royal glow to her outfit overall, giving Wonder Woman an otherworldly appearance.

She looks just as prestigious and badass she did in her first solo outing, which continues to be the best movie in the DC Expanded Universe. Because the Wonder Woman sequel takes place in 1984, I figured her her costume would have been inspired a bit by ’80s fashion, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.

Filming for Wonder Woman 1984 is now underway, which means we should start seeing more images out of the production over the coming months. In fact, set footage is already starting to leak out, giving us a look at Wonder Woman springing into action.

Not much is known about the sequel at this point, though we do know that Kristin Wiig will play Cheetah, the primary antagonist of the film. Wonder Woman 1984 is currently scheduled for a release on November 1, 2019.
