During its bright and early E3 2018 press conference, EA brought along the latest game in the Battlefield series. Battlefield V will be returning to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this coming October 19, falling in line with its usual fall release spot.

Battlefield V is confirmed to take place during World War II. The company is using a “War Stories” theme to push its single player campaign, telling stories of the war through the eyes of everyday soldiers and the heroism they showed.

EA also confirmed that the game will feature no premium passes and no loot boxes. These elements have caused great controversy in the community over the years, and EA is heading into this latest release without them. And in sticking with the trend, a battle royale mode will also be included in the multiplayer mode for the first time, adding modes similar to those found in PUBG.

Again, Battlefield V will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this coming October 19.
