Leak suggests Fortnite is coming to the Nintendo Switch very soon

The hot rumor surrounding the Nintendo Switch is the imminent arrival of Fortnite.  According to a leaked E3 programming form, Fortnite for the portable console will be announced during the event in the coming weeks.

E3 will begin Saturday, June 9 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Nintendo is taking the stage on June 12 to make its announcements and Fortnite might be among them.

Like most of the news dropping ahead of E3, take the leak with a grain of salt. It may or may not actually happen. But since we’ve been expecting this to happen, we do give this latest leak some credence. Epic Games, the studio responsible for Fortnite, has wasted no time in porting over its hugely popular game over to every platform available to capitalize on the game’s fervent following.

Fortnite is available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and iOS and it’ll be available on Android this summer. The only missing platform right is the Nintendo Switch, so it was only a matter of time before it made its way over. The port will also ensure the game is available on arguably the best medium available for portable gaming.
