After weeks of rumors, The Pokémon Company has officially unveiled a trio of new Pokémon games coming to the Nintendo Switch, including Pokémon: Let’s Go!, which is set to release this November. The other two games include a proper Pokémon RPG and Pokémon Quest, the latter of which is available now.

Pokémon: Let’s Go! will come in two versions: Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! and challenge players to collect the original 151 Pokémon in the Kanto region. The game is said to be inspired by Pokémon Yellow, which longtime fans will be very familiar with.

The game also looks to borrow some of the mechanics introduced by Pokémon Go. In fact, the mobile game integrates closely with Pokémon: Let’s Go!, allowing players to catch Pokémon in the mobile game and transfer them to the Switch, according to the video above.

The upcoming title for Switch also features motion control support and swipe gestures, similar to Pokémon Go. Players will only use one Joy-Con to controller their character; there’s also a Poké Ball controller that looks adorable. Unfortunately, said controller will be sold separately from the game.

In addition, Pokémon: Let’s Go! will feature drop-in co-op play, allowing players to capture Pokémon together. The upcoming title looks like a lot of fun and a great way for new fans to familiarize themselves with the Pokémon craze.

You can see more of what the game has to offer in the video above. Pokémon: Let’s Go! is set to release on November 16, 2018.
