Arrested Development Season 5 gets a release date

The Bluth family is back, and they have a mystery on their hands in Arrested Development season 5.

Following the events of season 4 – which has received a new edit to fit in better with the original seasons – the Bluths are trying to discover what happened to Lucille Two (Liza Minnelli) at Cinco de Quatro. As with most events in the life of the Bluths, it won’t take them long to focus on themselves, though. The family has decided that they deserve a Family of the Year award, which they will bestow on themselves. Meanwhile, Lindsay (Portia de Rossi) will run for Congress to become “part of the problem.”

Sounds like a typical time in the life of the Bluth family.

We’re not even going to try to guess what is up with Maeby (Alia Shawkat) and her hair.

Arrested Development season 5 will debut on Netflix on May 29. Until then, be sure to check out VoteBluth.com to receive updates on the family’s plans.

Correction: A previous version of this article said season 4 will debut on May 29 instead of season 5.
