Nintendo this week shared its plans for E3 2018, which will center primarily around Super Smash Bros. Everything will be unveiled on June 12 at 9 a.m. PT.
The presentation will be in the form of a video, as Nintendo tends to do, which means you can enjoy the festivities from the comfort of your own home, rather than trekking to Los Angeles. Those who do attend E3, however, will get the opportunity to play the brand new Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch during the show.
Nintendo is planning a Super Smash Bros. Invitational that’s set to take place once the Splatoon 2 World Championship concludes on June 12.
According to Nintendo’s E3 schedule, the company is also planning to share details about upcoming titles for the Switch. Nintendo recently said its portable console has done phenomenally well in its first year on the market, and there are no signs of slowing down.

Speaking of not slowing down, copy on Nintendo’s website indicates the company will share more details about its online service in early May. We already know the service will launch this September for at an annual cost of $19.99, but it’s still unclear what Nintendo Switch Online will include.
One thing people are waiting for is a Virtual Console, but Nintendo Switch Online might be a separate thing entirely. Whatever the service includes, it’s very clear that the Nintendo Switch is going to get ever better as the year goes on, starting with the company’s presentation on June 12.
