Honor 10 leaked press render shows off another notched display

by Danny Zepeda | April 17, 2018

We’ve been hearing rumblings about the Honor 10 – Honor’s next flagship – for a while now. Among the things being rumored is the impending arrival date in May that was later revised for April 19. Ahead of its official unveiling, we now know what the device looks like..

A leaked press render of the Honor 10 has shown off the flagship in all of its glory. Like nearly every other major smartphone being released in 2018, the Honor 10 too has a notch. This is due to reduced bezels at the top, while the bottom has a size-able bezel that houses the fingerprint scanner.

If you are reading the description of the Honor 10, it should sound very familiar. That’s because it’s a carbon copy of Huawei’s P20, from the display to the colorful metal band and glass panel on the back. Unfortunately, the triple-lens camera from the P20 Pro is not present; it settles for a dual camera setup.

Honor is a sub-brand of Huawei, so the fact that it is borrowing some elements of its parent company’s flagship shouldn’t be too surprising. Like we’ve seen in the past, this happens a lot.

The Honor 10 will reportedly come equipped with a 5.84-inch LCD display, Kirin 970 processor, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 3,320mAh battery, headphone jack and either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. All in all, four different models of the Honor 10 are expected with varying options of memory and storage. Pricing has not yet been revealed.
