Nokia X concept takes a unique approach to the notch trend

Back in February, HMD Global introduced a trio of Nokia devices that ranged from breath-taking to mundane. While the gallery you see above isn’t actually a real device, it would fit nicely in the brand’s expanded portfolio of Android devices.

The “Nokia X” device features a notched display and a solidly constructed body that looks every bit as good as the Galaxy S9 and iPhone X. Being that this is a concept, it might actually look better.

Although the display features a notch, the concept doesn’t go full iPhone X. Instead, only one side of the display features a notch, making room for an embedded front-facing camera, LED flash, and a myriad of sensors. It’s a unique take on the growing notch trend.

In addition to a notched display, the device feature Zeiss optics, a Pixel-like two-tone design, and a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. It looks fantastic—an elegant and futuristic dream phone that mesmerizes with its shiny edges.
