Invites were just sent out for an Apple event being held on Tuesday, March 27.

The company didn’t say exactly what will be announced, but we know its targeting students and teachers in classrooms everywhere. Apple says “Let’s take a field trip” in the invite, which indicates the event will be related to education.

Apple is expected to unveil a new entry-level iPad this year, and there’s arguably no better place for such a device than education. School administrations in the U.S. and beyond have been moving over to Google’s Chrome OS since the hardware is a lot cheaper. By lowering the price of the iPad, Apple could reclaim some market share and win back the classroom. The tablet, however, might not be the only major addition to the lineup.

Another product in development is reportedly a new MacBook set to revitalize or replace the MacBook Air. The company’s cheapest laptop hasn’t received much attention in recent years, but this new model is said to have upgrades for design and specifications along with a manageable price tag.

The invite also shows the company logo drawn by some type of writing instrument. It might indicate the iPad Pro, which is compatible with the Apple Pencil, is due for a refresh as well.
